About This Site

Circles of Cashiers-Glenville (CCG) is a chapter of Circles USA and sponsored locally by Mountain Projects Community Action. CCG is based in Southern Jackson County and serves the mountain region.

CCG uses a community driven approach that addresses the underlying causes of poverty by supporting individuals and families in a holistic, long term pathway to economic stability.

Many local churches and programs have partnered with CCG to implement the Circles model which has over 20 years of research behind it. CCG implements 6 Resource Teams that support participants by identifying and addressing systemic barriers, building community networks, identifying job and educational opportunities, identifies support services, and provides meals and child care during training.
